I decided to take a\u00a0cruise to the south side of town for a show. I haven’t been this far with My 55 Chevy Bel Air before so I was a bit cautious. It was a nice sunny day and were were cruisin right along. When we started getting nearer to the show, I had forgotten there was an air show going on today as well which was causing some pretty big backups.<\/p>\n
As I sat in traffic I was getting more nervous as I watched the temperature guage start to climb. The engine had never really gotten over 190 for me, so to see it at 210, 220 yeah, I was getting a bit nervous. I decided to take some back streets to get to the car show and made it there without incident.<\/p>\n
Once there it was a good time. Lots of nice cars, plenty of food and good music. Towards the end of the show, they did some drawings and to my surprise, I won! A gift certificate to a local speed shop. Now I’m going to have to search for something I need.<\/p>\n
The show wrapped, we headed home and overall the day was fun. Hope we see many more cars shows in the future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
