It seemed as if the only vehicles passing us were Border Patrol vehicles. We finally made it to my friend Scott&#8217;s place at Parker Canyon Lake. I was telling him about the drive to his place and he said the reason so many Border Patrol cars went by was because we were a little over 5 miles from the Mexican border.\u00a0 This is a picture from the deck of his log cabin. Notice the rain in the distance? That is over Mexico.
