I pressed on knowing I may encounter more dangers lurking ahead. To tell you the truth, it was quite intimidating looking at all this under the dash.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-644\" title=\"Old wiring mess\" src=\"http:\/\/www.my55chevybelair.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/wiring-mess-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"http:\/\/my55chevybelair.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/wiring-mess-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/my55chevybelair.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/wiring-mess.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But as I went on, it got clearer and clearer and soon I was gaining confidence as well as momentum.<\/p>\n<p>I got the dash taken apart and all the gauges out and after closer examination, I decided to do a bit of cleaning and repainting.<\/p>\n<p>Hey, if I got it this far taken down, might as well do it right the first time.
