So Many Cool Rides, Where Do I Start?

Well, the road trip to the Billetproof car show was a very cool experience. I made sure the battery for the camera was fully charged and the car gassed up and the GPS programmed. It wasn’t a very long drive and the weather was quite nice for show day.  I put on my comfortable walking shoes and made sure to cover up with sunscreen, because we all know the sun is unforgiving, and started to walk. And did I walk! There were so many cool cars to see. It’s a good thing it was an all day show. The music was good, and the people were nice to talk to. Speaking of talking to people, I got to meet “Big Daddy” himself, Don Garlits. "Big Daddy" Don Garlits

Of course it was in his backyard so I figured there was probably going to be a pretty good chance of seeing him there. I also should have taken more pics of the pinup girls in the contest, but by then I was feeling pretty drained from a long day. Still, I have plenty of pics of all the cars. Too many to upload here, but I do have quite a few to see if you want to click on over to this online album. Hope you like them as much as I did. I’m already making plans to go next year and I think I’ll be taking My ’55 Chevy Bel Air with me!

Feel free to drop me a message with any questions about the show or anything else.
