I didn’t stop with painting the engine block and headers. I continued to clean up the engine compartment. Again, instead of expensive chrome parts, I got some chrome spray paint and did some of the smaller parts after cleaning them up. One part was the alternator, I took a wire brush to it and it started to shine a bit. After it’s brushing, I painted the fan and it looked so clean and newer looking. I also put a wire brush attachment on my drill and cleaned up my aluminum Edelbrock manifold. Much better….
