A journey into the world of 700R transmissions. Yes today I finally took My 55 Chevy Bel Air to the maniacs at the transmission shop to have the turbo 350 retired and replace it with a rebuilt 700R. I am excited and should have it back in a couple days. Hopefully this weekend I can take a semi-long drive and see just how nice everyone keeps telling me it will be.
Looking forward especially to gas savings with the added overdrive gear.
