I Got my Chevy back from the transmission shop today with the new 700R and man does it ride nice! No clunking when putting it in to gear, smooth, quiet shifting and a little chirp when it hits second gear (have to have that one checked out, grin).
I installed the rebuilt speedo head today too. The gear at the transmission is on order, so when that gets installed, I’ll be so happy that all the gauges will be working. Then I shall have no excuse to not know what’s going on while I drive my ’55 Chevy Bel Air.
